Steps
to grow blueberry
02
Step 2
Use loose, well-drained, acidic soil (pH 4.5–5.5) enriched with peat moss or organic compost. Choose a location with plenty of sunlight.
01
Step 1
Soak the blueberry seeds in warm water (30–40°C / 86–104°F) for 12–24 hours. For better germination, cold stratification for 6–8 weeks is recommended before sowing.

Step 4
Place the seedlings in a sunny location with 6–8 hours of sunlight daily. Water regularly without overwatering and fertilize every 4–6 weeks. Blueberry plants grown from seed typically begin producing fruit in 18–24 months.
03
Step 3
Sow the seeds on the soil surface and cover lightly with 2–3 mm (0.08–0.12 in) of fine soil. Mist gently and keep the soil consistently moist until germination.
